Today we got inCre from our Counterstrike - Source Team to have a little talk . He's going to introduce himself for the users and talk about the CGS event and how the team came together. For the full interview click Read More

Hi Incre. Could you introduce yourself to the readers?

Sure, my name is Thomas Hector, I'm 23 years of age and I've been playing competitive gaming for several years. I'm now a part of H2k-Gaming, and I've been playing source for almost a year.

What were your last teams and your CS:S results before being H2K ?
My first team in CSS was RealLife:Rejects which we founded around august last year. We attended at SLAP 10 and SHG Open 2007, where we got a 4th place, before we joined up with H2k.

What do you do when you're not playing Counter-Strike:Source?
I'm studying to become a data technician, and I've just finished the last exam in this semester, which was Cisco Certified Network Professional. So right now I'm back on work, which is in a smaller ISP firm in Copenhagen called Comflex.

How do you handle your personal life and the "virtual" one?
Well as I just mentioned, I've just finished my exams, so I haven't really had the time to practice the last few months. At the moment we are only playing 1 official tournament which is the EuroCup and that's most likely the only prac we get these days. We have just won against mG in the semi-finals, so the upcoming match is against fnatic this week. To sum it up, it is actually not that hard to handle my personal life and my virtual one at the same time at the moment due to lack of activity in my virtual life.

How did you discover CS:Source ?
Discover may be a strong word, since all the news regarding source are popping up all the time, it really isn't that hard to discover it :P
Anyway foosah, endro and I got tired of playing CS, but wanted to play together once again like we did back in the days, so we decided to play a similar game

How did the H2K.css line up start?
Foosah, endro and I started up by making RL:R, after a short time rytme and orga joined up, and we played for some months before exce joined the lineup due to endros's inactivity. Orga left us for a short periode of time, and meanwhile h0lm joined our ranks. When we decided to join H2k, we knew it was a good idea to get a 6man rotation due to inactivity's, so orga joined us once again.

Can you present us each of your mates ?
Our lineup consists of 6 players:

- orga
- h0lm
- rytme
- eXce
- foosah
- inCre

Rytme, h0lm, foosah and eXce are most likely the riflemen, but with a quite different playing style, rytme and h0lm like the spray them back to spawn, which works more then fine, where eXce and foosah most likely try to tab shoot instead. Orga has an imba aim with both rifle and sniper, so he does a lot of different positions. Last player must be I, and I'm the tactical mastermind, and also the ingame leader, I'm probably the most awp-playing player as well on our team.

H2K are currently ranked 1st in Europe in the recent CSSNation.net ranking or even in the cadred.org ranking. What do you think about your placement ?
Hmm well, that's always a hard question to be asked. Still undefeated as H2k, we won SLAP Live against strong opponents such as dignitas, x6, xpre. Now we are in the EuroCup finals after a tough group (Logitech, 4kings, Ebuyer red.) I think the result speaks for it self, and I do think we deserve the spot to be honest.

You will soon participate to The Experience lan at home in Denmark, how are you going to prepare for this event ?
We haven't arranged anything yet, but I do believe there is a great chance that the team will come home to my place and bootcamp a couple of days before the event.

Can you give us a prediction for the top 3 of The Experience lan?
There'll be tons of good teams, but I'll go with: H2k, adastra, Logitech - beside that I'm looking forward to see the former 1.6 teams such as EYE and Cph play.

Well inCre first of all thank you for your time, do you have any last shout-outs or anything you wish to add?
Yeah, I would like to thank my teamplayers and the H2k management and also our sponsors : Qpad.se , Sennheiser , Thermaltake , CDR Winkel and Ice Tea <3
