The Xbox 360 Halo 3 team has won the Cycom LAN. The Cycom LAN is one the biggest console event of France, every year it gathers more international teams in order to compete for a cash prize.
"Concerning the competition, it's the 3rd time that a foreign team comes to win it in France, this time it's the Dutch from H2k Gaming. They were far ahead of all the other teams during the whole weekend, to the point of not having lost a single round. They left a strong message to the French teams: you're far from the European level. We could imagine that perhaps MythiX.Phenomenon or Fair Frag could at one point have rivaled them, but none of them were present." from esport.halo.fr

Explanation: Two of the EG players failed to upload the Custodia screenshots (anti-cheat). Like it was done versus Alliance twice in the groupstage before, H2k ZOWIE protested towards the match as there was no proof of anti-cheat which is required to play the games. The "admin" denied the protest with argument that EG is EG and not Alliance and that therefor they will not receive any penalty points. Due to this protest the 3rd place decider was delayed, and zyppe was unable to stay longer at the internet cafe he was playing in. The admins refused to give H2k ZOWIE any waiting time in order to find sub for the team which they wouldn't allow to play anyhow. The WES denies H2k the right of playing the 3rd place decider and has banned the team from participating at any other of their events. The WES also refuses to discuss the matter with the H2k management in a calm and professional manner.

As you may have read earlier, we let go of our 1.6 line up in order to make space for a full new team. For some of you this may come as no surprise as we pick up the successful Begrip team which has shown immense potential in the past and for which we hope great things in the future.
Alongside the five players we will be picking up two people to reinforce the team. Christopher "t00f" Segerberg, who was the teams coach in Begrip, will also be making the transfer to H2k Gaming as the role of Team Manager. Many of you will also be happy to know that Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed will remain under H2k Gaming in order to back up the team as Coach.
H2k Gaming's new line up:
Andre "BARBARR" Möller
Danny "pop" Oldenburg
Markus "pronax" Wallstenen
Richard "Xizt" Landström
Samuel "Zyppe" Martinsson
Christopher "t00f" Segerberg - Team Manager
Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed - Team Coach
Official Statement Andre "BARBARR" Möller:
"Today is a bitter sweet day, but mostly a sweet day. It's with regret and sorrow we leave our home in Begrip and It's with a big smile we move in to our new home; H2k.
We are glad that we have gotten the opportunity to play for one of the biggest eSport organisation out there. Ever since we start playing together (me, pronax, xizt, pop and zyppe) this is pretty much all we have aimed for, to represent a strong and professional organisation.
We join H2k with high expectations and we will work hard to achieve them, and with big help from our new coach SpawN together with our manager t00f
At last I just want to thank Individ for all the work he have done for us and we will really miss him and also a big thanks to all of our new sponsors; ZOWIE GEAR, Thermaltake, Spam and i3D.net."
Official Statement Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed:
"As you may have read in my blog, I believe it was time for me to let the younger generation take over as player. The young line up of ex-Begrip, now H2k, is a team with immense potential. I believe that with me at their side, I can help bring them the extra edge to their gaming performance and with this take a new step in my gaming career, as Team Coach.
I will also like to thank all of my fans for the time I spent as a player, and hopefully I will still be bringing positive things to the community as Team Coach and also together with ZOWIE GEAR, for the best gaming experience."

It is with great sadness that we today announce the release of our Counter-Strike 1.6 line up. The H2k Gaming team has been facing many changes in the last few months, making it impossible to create a stable line up for the future.
Although it may not have worked out with the line up, H2k Gaming would like to thank SpawN, Tentpole and Snajdan for their time in H2k Gaming. Many friendships have been built, and we can only wish them the best of luck in the future, wherever it may bring them.
Official Statement Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed:
"Hello guys! I am here with another update… as you know, the past few months in H2k has been very turbulent. I tried to make a comeback to professional gaming because of my love to the game, but I must admit that I can’t keep up with both work and gaming at a professional level, so I have made the decision to let the younger generation take over – the competition is very good! I have had a great time in H2k and really appreciate the chance to play at a top level again, but I have realized that I am getting old and therefore I will focus my energy on other activities that can benefit eSports, such as using my professional experience and passion for the game to develop the ideal gear for professional gaming."
Official Statement Rudy van der Reest:
"I believed in the lineup we had, even with some changes the last few weeks. I supported Abdisamad and his team totally in every way I could. Unfortunately we have to say goodbye to Kristoffer, Mattias and Abdisamad, good luck in everything you will do. H2k will have a look on the next steps on Counter-Strike 1.6."
News update about the future of CS 1.6 Gaming in H2k Gaming will be given soon. Once again, thank you to Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund, Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed and Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen.

Both teams were present last weekend at the DSRack LAN where The Imperial took first place, and H2k Gaming third place. However, the teams never met in the groupstages or the playoffs which will give this match the opportunity to test each others skills.
The map will be de_inferno, which is the map H2k Gaming won all of the overtimes on last weekend and have won their games 5 times in a row on that map. However, The Imperial has had no losses yet in the league and only one tie, versus FnaticMSI
